We’re upgrading our radiology viewer

We’re upgrading our radiology viewer

If you’ve ever tried reviewing multiple scans at once or wasted time flipping between systems to find what you need, you’re not alone.

Our team has spent the past few months working closely with users across the legal and clinical space to understand where the process slows down, and how we can fix it.

The result? A smarter, more flexible radiology viewer designed to make image review faster, clearer, and more intuitive – especially when the stakes are high.

A more flexible way to view images

You can now choose from a wider range of panel layouts, including 1×3, 2×3 and beyond – so you can view multiple images or series side by side, without needing to rearrange or compromise your screen space.

It’s a small change that makes a big difference when reviewing complex files.

Improved syncing and image control

We’ve added several features to help you control how images behave, making side-by-side comparison easier and more precise.

  • Auto and DICOM windowing, plus CT presets and histogram tools
  • Panning with alignment for better visual accuracy
  • Manual, automatic, and distance-based sync options
  • Syncing for window/level, colour palette, zoom, and pan

More advanced MPR and 3D views

MedDream now supports orthogonal, axial, coronal, sagittal, and MIST views, enabling deeper anatomical analysis when needed.

Whether you’re reviewing for diagnostic purposes or presenting findings in a legal context, this added visibility matters.

Productivity features that save time

We’ve also focused on daily usability:

  • Fusion and channels to combine image sets for deeper insight
  • Export, save and share tools built directly into the viewer
  • Hanging protocols to automatically load your preferred layout based on study type

Fewer clicks. Less switching between tools. A smoother experience all around.

More format compatibility, fewer distractions

You can now view radiology reports within the viewer itself, removing the need to jump between systems. MedDream also supports a broader range of DICOM formats, so opening and reviewing images is more seamless than ever.

Why it matters

We know that speed and clarity are critical in both legal and clinical workflows. This update is about more than adding features it’s about reducing friction in the work that matters most.

If you’d like a walkthrough of the new features or want to explore how this fits into your workflow, we’d be happy to show you around.
